Like others I have been looking all over for a case for my Nook that I actually liked. I have gotten several of the B&N cases but they were just a bit too bulky for me. This case is exactly what I was looking for. And yes it says it’s for the Nook Color but the Nook Tablet fits in it perfectly. The only complaint I have and its a little one is that there is an odor to it. I don’t know if its leather or a chemical smell. Anyway I let it sit out for a day and for the most part it went away. So if you looking for a sleek functional case this one fits the bill.

|Top quality at reasonible price,
As the first two reviews point out this is a top quality case. It seems to be real leather, nicely stitched and functions in every capacity that you would want for a Nook cover. When vertical (i.e. book reading) there is a hand strap and when horizontal it has a stand for watching videos with a cutout for the speaker in back. The cover is held when closed with a magnetic clasp on the top. I looked at B&N and nothing they have can compare to the value that the Snugg offers. The Amazon description says it’s for the Nook Color but I have the Tablet. They are exactly the same size so it is a perfect fit. Highly recommended.

I received the Snugg case for my Nook Color yesterday. Since Christmas, I’ve been searching retail stores hard and long. However, I was simply unable to find a well designed case that looked nice. This cover not only looks great but also has a superior design to anything else out there. Additionally, the price is equivalent to or less than most B&N covers. I highly recommend this product!

The case is pretty, and it does a decent job of protecting my Nook Color, but there are definitely some design flaws. I agree that it’s annoying to have the straps in the way of all the buttons (I can’t even put the upper left one on because it will accidentally turn my Nook off and on) and the headphone jack; and then the speakers are blocked in the back so it muffles the sound. I chose this over a slip-case because I didn’t want to have to take my Nook out of it every time I want to use it, but I have to do that with this case anyway (unless I’m strictly reading). Anyway, not bad, not great.

I purchased this case for my color nook and I am very pleased with it. I didn’t buy any of the cases at Barnes & Noble because all the ones I liked didn’t have a closure. The color nook isn’t cheap and I wanted a cute case that would also really protect my nook. This case is sturdy and the plaid design is really attractive/burberry-esque. I’m extremely happy with my purchase and glad that I didn’t spend a lot more money on a different case without a closure. Totally recommend this!

|Poor design for Nook Color,
I’m not sure why this item is marketed towards the Nook Color. The only good thing about it is that it secures my Nook from damage. The four corner holders (two on the left are elastic straps) cover my volume controls on the right and covers my power button on the left so I can’t access any of the buttons while it is in the case. The back of the Nook also sits flush to the back panel and blocks the speaker so when I have the volume at max volume I can barely hear it at all.
I thought that this would be a good cover for the price but I guess you get what you pay for. I’ll be sending it back and will have to find a cover that works better with the Nook Color. Probably more expensive but it will be worth it.
